Alex Jeffreys is Back!

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

I know that I have been away and underground – but I have been VERY busy with a number of projects, that I will reveal here as soon as I have them in place – with a full explanation of how I achieved it all, but more on that later.

I am writing because Alex Jeffereys is running his course again soon with “Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course 2.0″ which is  – if it is anything like 1.0 – going to be amazing and I felt the weight of the moral responsibility to tell you.

So the good news is you will have plenty of opportunity to see if it right for you before you decide to take your business to the next level as Alex will give tremendous value even BEFORE the launch of the coaching sales page!

So I will have more information for you as we get closer to the day….watch this space!

(BTW – I had a blast with the family in Disneyland Paris – next the Alps and then Barcelona….can’t be bad!  Any tips on good restaurants in Barcelona?  Weekend without the kids so we can eat out in peace – yippee!)

Keep on rocking!

Alex and Guinness (and a competition)

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Not to be confused with Alex Guinness [renowned actor]  – I have made a video that has a three fold effect:

1. I got to play with my Flip Camera!

2. Get to show you all that it DOESN’T rain in Ireland all the time and show you where I live…

3. Show how brilliant my man Alex Jefferys is by comparing him to that other brilliant thing – Guinness! [most improtant part really!]

Look out for the competition details – you could win the very Guinness that I use in the video [part 3]

Also I am VERY sorry that it went SOOOO long…leasson learned…SHUT UP HARRY!

Let me know what you think as I will be taking it down in a few days….so that I can put up a better one  more informative video.

No one likes to be lied to!

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

“No one likes to be lied to…”

So the title of the eBook “SEO Lies: A Report About SEO Truths… “ really caught my eye as I was doing research in connection with my desire to get a better understanding of SEO and Traffic after Module 5 – Traffic Tornadoes of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program – Oh, and the $1000 prize for the top spot on Google under Alex Jeffreys?  Well yes that was also an incentive…….

So to you, my fellow AJ Students I have some good news….

“SEO Lies: A Report About SEO Truths… ” is available here for only $1!

It covers:

  • How SEO Works
  • What’s Important (I had REALLY messed up on this one!)
  • Getting Indexed
  • ……and more

And here is the thing!

I upgraded to the OTO (which was also excellent, ’cause outsourcing really is important to me…as you will discover in later posts)

Because of that I get a cool little link that means I  get the $1 for anyone who buys the eBook….can’t be bad.

Now before you think I am out to sell you anything – I honestly don’t want to make money from my fellow students (not just yet anyway ;-) as this is my year of GIVING!

(I honestly thought: “What to do…it’s a good book – it cost $1 – could I use this link to create buzz…tie it in with the training…give some value”)

And so I thought of a plan where you could get the really informative and practical eBook (which let’s remember is $1…come on!)  and you also get something that relates to Module 5 (and Module 1 where Alex mentioned outsourcing!) so that we can further our learning and experience in this important area that saves time and effort – and if you are like me working fulltime for the man….well enough said!

When you decide to get the eBook you will also get a 300 word article written for you by my outsourced writer (who is fantastic) on any subject! You just have to provide your subject and keywords!

(So if you thought that I was going to pocket the money you were wrong! Shame on you!! I just did an initial deal on our behalf…)

So here is what you can do:

1. Get the eBook here

2. Forward your receipt to support[at]harryharrisblog.com

3. In that email give me your subject and keywords for the article

5. Post a comment about it (not essential but nice!)

4. I will send you back the article to the that email address (or another if you wish!)

5. Submit that article to http://ezinearticles.com  and other such directories and get traffic and a valuable backlink.

6. Rinse and repeat!

If you like the articles you can use the writer ongoing and she said that you can have a special Harry Harris and Alex Jeffreys rate…..

Hope this makes sense…if not comment below and let me know if you think (might be complete rubbish idea, never know!)

May the force be with you…..

“Let’s start at the very beginning..” – Goals for 2009

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

I know, I know…but my girls love The Sound of Music and when I sat down to plan how I am going to shine in 2009 the above words were all that came into my head!

I think I have, as many of us newbies , been suffering from information overload and I cannot seem to find the time to do all the things that I want to do…(between watching repeats of The Sound of Music)….anyway, moving swiftly along!

After watching my estemed mentor Mr Alex Jeffreys and his latest video on his blog about planning and predictions I have set about with the task of planning my 2009 and getting it from my head onto paper – or mindmap!

The greatest thing about this is the realization that just because it is January the 14th (at time of writing) it doesn’t have to mean that I have to have it all planned out.  So I have decided to be more strategic…..I have done more in the  last 6 weeks than in the last year – so Harry Happy!

On a daily basis I will also be using the Gary Simpsons brilliant eBook that I will be making good use of…and I recommend you do the same – I will show you how I have been using it as I move forward.

I also want to be able to formulate a task list of best practise based on the results that I have already achieved and will yet achieve.

Next few days….

I am going to rewatch my own review of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program Module #1Review to give it its official title (and get it onto YouTube etc – had my account suspended by blip.tv, more on that later – I did nothing wrong I promise!) and retrace my steps and fill in the gaps.

I am also gonna do my Video for the $1500 prize form Alex so that is high priority for me….

Fellow Students…..

I must say, I really admire the likes of Garry Parkes, Gary Simpson (as mentioned previously), JT Martin, Nigel Yip, Mark Austin, Nikki Stephens (who has mastered Twitter!) to name but a few of our wonderful fellow students….they obviously know what they are doing (and seem to have been at it a while) and have taken the internet by storm….

But what if you, like me, are sturggling with all the information?  What if you feel snowed under?  What if you feel that you have not achieved anywhere near what others are doing?

Don’t worry! My message for myself and for you dear reader today is:“Don’t Sweat – Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day!”

Who are you doing this for anyway? Alex?  No…for you!  And here’s a shocker – I am doing this for me and MY family….so I just need to do this in such a way that I don’t get distracted by others – but inspired by them…one of my clear objectives in 2009 is to provide tremendous value, to hold nothing back, to give, give and give some more….

……(hence the links to others in this blog – I want you to go there, ’cause there is good stuff on those sites – but if you like me you will work with me, and I know that – and while we are on it I don’t believe in the law of attraction and all that – we gotta work for it, but you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person, so if we are gonna take this journey together we will, because it’s a fit and feels right – why did I sign up with Alex and not someone else?  Because he is the right man for the job….for me and many others!)…….

So, Remember “Forward to Basics” - Build that Foundation!  (again if you have to!).  Keep at it and we will all be successful!  I heard recently that Tiger Woods went back and learned a new technique – it put him back for a while but he was willing to take the risk to get it right- so I am too!

I know that I have been doing a TON of stuff wrong – from SEO to time management as well as other things including getting involved a bit more actively with other students (although I have given of my time and resources where I can, the Class of 2008 video being an example!) – that’s why I am going to take the time to plan and be strategic about what I am doing – I am so exited you cannot believe it!

So as Maria said: “Let’s start at the very beginning; a very good place to start…….”

Number 3 on Google!

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

“Mum – Come and ‘ave a look at this!”

Today I have been visiting my fellow students blogs trying to make more contact etc and I was wondering where I am when it comes to Google and Alex and Me so I typed in the search term Alex Jeffreys Coaching…..Well blow me over…

I found that I was at number 3…can’t be bad!  Now I just need some more traffic, but I think that this looks good for the future….I don’t know how exactly this happened -but flip me I am going to find out!

Proof (and an excuse to use my newly aquired Snap It program – it rocks!)

“Cross Town Traffic (Generation)…Get Through to You!”

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

“Who sang Cross Town Traffic?”

As chance would have it I hard this song on the Radio today.  Many of you will recognise the words from none other than Jimi Hendrix guitar legend himself…..

So what am I going to do to get Traffic? (can’t write that without hearing the song…sorry, I know – a little strange) to my Blog as instructed by Alex Jeffreys.   Anydo….below is a video discussing what will no doubt be a long trip to the

“…..other side of town”

My objective is (realtively) simple, find the best ways to generate traffic to my blog so that (and as they say on X Factor in no particular order!)

a.) I win $1,000

b.) Learn how to do it in the most effective way

c.) Share my experience with you my good reader and fellow student!

Enjoy the Video (sorry about some of the production  – still getting use to Camtasia!)

Progress update….and my “Chewie” impression!

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

“I can’t believe I did it….”

What?  Well two things really.  First that I was on the Brainstorming Session #2 with Mr. Alex “Han Solo” Jeffreys (which lasted 7 hours or so – can you imagine?  This man answered his students questions for 7 hours!) and had him critique my blog al vivo -and he said that he liked it(!) and it had a lot of personality and I had a great sense of humour and that he enjoyed the videos.

I also got a hey there from Gary Simpson and and his pitch for the staring role in the up and coming Class of 2008 Video (please see updated post for this on what you can do to get involved with this…if you haven’t already TUT TUT)

I was speaking with Garry Parkes via Twitter through the part of the session I had attented (got to class late) which was cool…I was really in the presence of greatness last night!  I will be contributing to The Profit Pulling Project Newsletter’s next issue – very exciting!

Alex told me that I should focus on how it is that I am building traffic to the blog now, in line with the $1,000 (yes folks you read that right!) prize for the blog with the most traffic in the next 2 weeks or so -  and get this – he will run ANOTHER competition based on the same criteria in January and beyond…what a guy!!

And the second thing?  Well I did an impression of Chewie from Star Wars (which you will hear in the rerun of the session, if you hadn’t already) that was a wee bit embarassing :-) but fun none the less!

So let’s move on.

“Okay…gloves off? Check! Loins girded? Check! Hands dirty? Watch me dig baby!”

What has been happening in Happy-Harry-Land?  Well, I am glad you asked!

Progress report:

  • Domain (x2) and Hosting – which was a steep learning curve but I got there….
  • I have done my PPP (Profit Pulling Platform)  – check out http://internetzerotohero.com
  • I have my blog together (tada!)  and related plug-ins, although I will be putting in an individual header and design (which will suit what I am looking to achieve!) which I have outsourced…more on that in a later post!
  • Aweber set up and added to blog, landing page etc. and I have written a welcome email – I want to do a better ‘thank you for subscribing’ page so that is on my to do list! I also set it so that they get the confirmation email first and then access the free ebook.
  • I have joined Twitter – http://twitter.com/harryharrisblog (see previous post, written before I saw Module 4, so ahead of the game there!)
  • I am getting together my plan for Traffic Generation Mayhem – my words :-) more revealed later – really, watch this space – I will reveal all and show exactly what I did!
  • Done videos (as you can see on the blog) which I want to continue with and have GREAT plans for in the new year – loving it!

On many of the things above I will be creating a video and show EXACTLY how I did it for your benefit.

Unlike many of the students of Alex – I really am starting from ground zero (hence the theme zero to hero!) and I am VERY proud of what I (and others) have achieved!  Alex Jeffreys is an excellent coach and I look forward to having lots of success, thanks to Agent AJ!
