“Alex:..ready for light-speed? One..two…three!
“It’s Not My Fault….”
Alex and Gang have had a few technical issues with getting the webinar and other material up in the members area; so we have all had to show a little patience.
Bridge of Millenium Falcon: aka Alex’s Office
Han: Let’s get out of here (and make people a ton of money!) One…two…three!
Han pulls back on the hyperspace throttle and — nothing happens. Flak bursts continue to rock the ship.
HAN: (frantic) It’s not fair!
Chewie is very angry and starts to growl and bark at hisfriend and captain.
Again, Han desperately pulls back on the throttle.
HAN: The transfer circuits are working. It’s not my fault!
Chewie puts his head in his hands, whining.
LEIA: (almost expecting it) No light-speed?
HAN: It’s not my fault.
THREEPIO: Sir, we just lost the main rear deflector shield. One more direct hit on the back quarter and we’re done for.
Han pauses for a moment, makes a decision, and pulls back on a lever.
HAN: Turn her around (switch servers for goodness sake!)
Chewie barks in puzzlement.
HAN: I said turn her around! I’m going to put all power in the frontshield.
LEIA: You’re going to attack them?!
THREEPIO: Sir, the odds of surviving a direct assault on an ImperialStar (Server) Destroyer…
LEIA: Shut up!
And so the story goes for our Intrepid Internet Heros….
WILL THEY MAKE IT…………????

OMG … I have laughed my pants of for 5 mins at this Harry
Thank you … (yep we’ve seen some MAJOR tech issues)
the server crashed just before webinar #1
(support desk was down plus all sites including members area)
my support desk is playing up and we are having our students tell me they -
can’t read FAQ
haven’t received there replies
can’t enter security code,
so that PUMPED up support questions,
then trying to re-render my webinar to upload into the members area last night about 5pm – i found out Camtasia wouldn’t render the format so i had to do a microsoft media extract (WTF) and that took 4hours 22mins -
then i had to edit the webinar again into 15 min timeframes for easy viewing online in the members area … to say i went to bed at the same time (Leia & Chewie) got up,
only to find 200 emails in my inbox,
so i spent hours getting back to them and right now im going to speak with C3PO to start adding the students products into the members area,
also tonight im buying a new support system and installing it before monday where we are having a new team run my support desk around the clock,
giving me the chance to automate the support questions that dont need my personal touch – giving me the chance to work on the produtive projects in the coaching program,
there is NO way i can make everyone a success if im doing support all day – I need to be creating videos – webinars – interactive sessions – q & a sessions, and ofcourse replay to any personal emails,
so im excited – we are getting over the tech issues,
O YER,
I forgot,
BLOODY PAY PAL *** Dath Vader *** !!!! (RANT) —-
They gave my customers the WRONG email address for me in the invoices to the students (an email address that i dont even own)
i hadn’t owned it for 4 years – and i phone them to tell them about this issue – do you think they would help me NO !!!
They said i better change my email address on my website – Bunch of bafoons over there i sware ….
30 phone calls later – i twigged that i could go buy the domain and just forward to my other email … easier than dealing with Dath right,
WRONG …
only last night i found all the emails that were sent to that email address forwarded to my spam folder, and ofcourse there were some unhappy bunnys in there, thinking i was a scammer coz i didnt reply !!!
rant over — (okay almost) — pay-pal get a grip, look at clickbank and fix up !!!
ok im really excited whats going on, the first module has now been uploaded into the members area along with the first interactive session,
and im now off to speak with C3PO to start adding other elements,
i think by the weekend i should be ahead of myself and automated alot of the tech hell so i can focus on the imortant thing which is training, not supporting the tech hell because there is a delay on training … (catch 22)
oooo im so excited and Harry, keep the thread going if you like mang,

Oh yeah, I’m doing the “Joey Dance” now….I made Alex laugh for 5 minutes and leave a great comment on my blog.
So excited too about the unfolding of the course…..Interesting how these ‘clams’ are attracting ‘fish’.

Very amusing. I actually have a friend who is a HUGE SW fan and when he gets separated from his wife in the supermarket aisles he just stands and does this humongous Wookie cry…
“EEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!”
And she comes running to him to shut him up. Otherwise he just keeps doing it.
