Alex Jeffreys is Back!
Posted on June 17th, 2009 in Alex Jeffreys | 1 Comment »
I know that I have been away and underground – but I have been VERY busy with a number of projects, that I will reveal here as soon as I have them in place – with a full explanation of how I achieved it all, but more on that later.
I am writing because Alex Jeffereys is running his course again soon with “Alex Jeffreys Coaching Course 2.0″ which is – if it is anything like 1.0 – going to be amazing and I felt the weight of the moral responsibility to tell you.
So the good news is you will have plenty of opportunity to see if it right for you before you decide to take your business to the next level as Alex will give tremendous value even BEFORE the launch of the coaching sales page!
So I will have more information for you as we get closer to the day….watch this space!
(BTW – I had a blast with the family in Disneyland Paris – next the Alps and then Barcelona….can’t be bad! Any tips on good restaurants in Barcelona? Weekend without the kids so we can eat out in peace – yippee!)
Keep on rocking!

Alex and Guinness (and a competition)
Posted on March 24th, 2009 in Alex Jeffreys | 5 Comments »
Not to be confused with Alex Guinness [renowned actor] – I have made a video that has a three fold effect:
1. I got to play with my Flip Camera!
2. Get to show you all that it DOESN’T rain in Ireland all the time and show you where I live…
3. Show how brilliant my man Alex Jefferys is by comparing him to that other brilliant thing – Guinness! [most improtant part really!]
Look out for the competition details – you could win the very Guinness that I use in the video [part 3]
Also I am VERY sorry that it went SOOOO long…leasson learned…SHUT UP HARRY!
Let me know what you think as I will be taking it down in a few days….so that I can put up a better one more informative video.

Power of 4 For a More Focused Business
Posted on February 11th, 2009 in Goals | 12 Comments »
***Important Update***
[Taking note of fellow students comments (see below and feel free to comment too) and reviewing a couple of things, I have decided to rephrase the 4 Hours part of the Power of 4 Square and revisit some goals and adjust their term (short to medium to long etc) as noted by Garry [and by extension JT] Alex said if you have one major business goal you have a 95% chance of success, if you have two it drops to 70% and more than that and it drops to less than 50%…I want 100% success so I will take this advice and use it – just shows it’s never too late to readjust your thinking…and now please read the post…..:-]
-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-
How Many Letters in KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)?
The school I went to tells me it’s 4….
As discussed in a previous post speaking about goals for 2009 (the year to shine!) I wanted to find something that made it easy to manage what I was doing [and why I was doing it] and not to be distracted by things that will not get me to where I want to be….make sense?
So I was thinking about many of the things that my mentor Alex Jeffreys discussed as early on as Module #1 of our coaching program….and that is Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) – know and focus on the things that make the money and the [by now] infamous phrase: This is business!
So looking at where I am starting from and where I want to be I decided to start with the end in mind and reverse engineer my year……
Where Am I Now?
As many of you will know I live and work in Ireland – I have a [wonderful and young] family and a full time job. Therefore my time is somewhat limited – not an excuse – just a fact that I have to manoeuvre and manage around. You no doubt can relate to this if you are in the same situation.
However, in thinking about this [time-limit thing] I could use it to my advantage…..
Knowing that I only have X amount of hours – then I have to be sure that this time is spent productively – no flaffing about etc. It will force me to utilize the 20/80 rule [again as discussed by Alex as well as Tim Ferriss of the Four Hour Work Week - excellent book, get a copy!] and see where the best use of time and resources should be directed.
This may [and probably will] involve investing [that is paying hard earned cash for] in time saving programs that I will report on later
Interestingly, in relative terms, I get a lot of refferal traffic from Twitter with an average 2 page visit spending 3 minutes on this blog. this is amazing too as I don’t pimp Twitter at all [that is to say not every tweet has "visit my site" etc]
I am a relative newbie to the internet marketing game, I like it [some play golf I like to learn how to get financial freedom] and I learn fast – but it has been hit and miss and is by no means a business in it’s own right [yet!]…which brings me to my next point…..
Where Do I Want to Be? [Desired Outcome]
2009: time to shine! The mantra of Alex Jeffreys students.
So where do I want to be in Dec 2009 – well if it involves a beach and a hammock I will be very glad! – but you see for Alex [and hence for me] that is not specific enough! In fact I have to be specific about 4 goal areas which can be summed up in the acronym P.I.B.E
- Personal
- Income
- Business
- Entrepreneurial
So let’s take the first one…
Personal Goals [Overview - more specifics later]
- Get Fit [I think this is important on a lot of levels]
- Disneyland Paris with family
- New Zealand 2010
- Vegas with 500
- Meet Alex Jeffreys and buy him a drink or two to thank him for his inspiring coaching course…[Alex - I am comin' to Cardiff mate!]
- Afford Mass Control Program and Seminar [I know that's business too but hey!]
Income Goals [Overview - more specifics later]
- 3 Niches at $50 a day each [edit: longer term goal after I master 1 niche and grow my list]
- Minimum profit of $50K by end of 2009
Business [Overview - more specifics later]
- List Building [par excellence] 7500 by year end!
- Keep a Success Journal [just do it!]
- Update Blog look and Seo effectivness
- Office space [at home]
- Focus on Giveaways [create killer content]
- Twitter [build followers to 2000 by end of March]
- Oil Rigging
- Podcasting [iTunes]
- Build a leverage system in line with the Power of 4 [Outsourcing, paid solutions]
- My own product ready by September [Free eCourse, list promotion and future coaching program [not the internet niche]
- JV partners – Fortunate 500
- Book [ordinary - as in off the shelf type!again longer term but here for prosterity]
- Public Speaker for Events [If I get myself sorted I might get to do this in Vegas, hey Alex?]
- Continue to support and promote the Profit Pulling Project and my fellow students
Entrepreneurial [Overview]
- Master Video [production, scripting, camtasia etc]
- SEO
- Public Speaking
- Increase business acumen
- Learn how to run a coaching course
So……
What is the Power of 4?

Well as shown and illustrated above you can see that I have broken my development with the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program into 4 areas [it makes it easier for me, and feel free to use it if it makes sense to you!]
They are:
4 [as many]Hours [as I possibly can]
Like many and [even maybe you I am building an online business while working full time as well as having a lovely young family that requires a lot of time. So [borrowing and inspired by Tim Ferriss] I have landed on the number of 4 hours a week.
A little disclaimer here:
These are what I do hands on with my business which will be things that I do not want to outsource and that I feel personal about [or things that I have to do like videos and podcasting and tweeting etc].
I would also be doing oil rigging personally and commenting and connecting with people on a personal level whereever possible.
In terms of Article Writing [I might write a few seed articles just to make sure that it has my personality - but spinning etc will be done elsewhere] as well as Techie Stuff etc I will outsource these functions [as it is still cheaper to get others to do most of it and would look better than what I could do too!]
Time spent listening to modules, or training etc are not counted because I will substitute that with watching rubbish on TV [that makes me nada!]
4 Traffic
I want to do 4 things a week that will have a positive impact on Traffic Generation to m site/ squeeze page.
As discussed above I will be focusing on media and social networking as well as Giveaways Sites to grow my list, so this section will involve moving that forward in a concrete way. As seen in my Traffic Generation Mind Map – there are a lot of things that can be done, but I want to focus my attention on what will get most people to my site and onto my list!
4 Goals
4 tangible actions a week that move me towards my P.I.B.E goals desired outcomes. These will work in harmony with the 1 year, 90 day, 30 day, 1 week, 1 day breakdown that Alex Jeffreys recommends.
This exercise will run in sync with the other three squares in the diagram; i.e. actions to generate traffic will naturally move me towards achieving my Business goals of building the list to 7500 for example – I see this as the policeman of the 4 – keep me from being a busy fool!
4 Posts
Value, Value, Value is the [other] mantra of the students and I will endevour to add to my readerships’ experience by providing 4 post a week [google likes this too - frequency is good], recounting the highs and lows as well as informative, useful information that the reader can take away and use….[oh and a bit of fun as well!]
These will also include multi-media [video and audio, lots of it!] as well as stuff from and directions to other peoples blogs, videos, reports – where it is appropriate and adds real value – no rehashed cacca here!
Oh, and I want each post to have a picture, because I like it when other blogs have pictures on their posts.
Final thoughts…….
I will play with this one, but I would like it if I could have a specific day for specific tasks – like Friday is video and I do all my videos on Friday….we’ll see how it works out!
Key here for me [and for you my friend] is FOCUS – and not tangents!!
My man Gary “GazzaMan” Simpson [http://motivationselfesteem.com/talk/] has a great time management book that I will be using to help me to do this….
Just to say thanks to all my fellow students [you know who you are] for your continued inspiration and support. As Lennon said: “and we all shine on….like the moon and the stars and the sun….on and on and on and on….” – may this be your year to shine!
And a special thanks to Alex Jeffreys for making this a chance to look my wife in the eye and say:
“Hey! This ‘Internet Thing’ just might work…in fact for the first time ever deep down inside I KNOW it will”….and she believed me!
See you on the beach!

No one likes to be lied to!

“No one likes to be lied to…”
So the title of the eBook “SEO Lies: A Report About SEO Truths… “ really caught my eye as I was doing research in connection with my desire to get a better understanding of SEO and Traffic after Module 5 – Traffic Tornadoes of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program – Oh, and the $1000 prize for the top spot on Google under Alex Jeffreys? Well yes that was also an incentive…….
So to you, my fellow AJ Students I have some good news….
“SEO Lies: A Report About SEO Truths… ” is available here for only $1!
It covers:
- How SEO Works
- What’s Important (I had REALLY messed up on this one!)
- Getting Indexed
- ……and more
And here is the thing!
I upgraded to the OTO (which was also excellent, ’cause outsourcing really is important to me…as you will discover in later posts)
Because of that I get a cool little link that means I get the $1 for anyone who buys the eBook….can’t be bad.
Now before you think I am out to sell you anything – I honestly don’t want to make money from my fellow students (not just yet anyway
as this is my year of GIVING!
(I honestly thought: “What to do…it’s a good book – it cost $1 – could I use this link to create buzz…tie it in with the training…give some value”)
And so I thought of a plan where you could get the really informative and practical eBook (which let’s remember is $1…come on!) and you also get something that relates to Module 5 (and Module 1 where Alex mentioned outsourcing!) so that we can further our learning and experience in this important area that saves time and effort – and if you are like me working fulltime for the man….well enough said!
When you decide to get the eBook you will also get a 300 word article written for you by my outsourced writer (who is fantastic) on any subject! You just have to provide your subject and keywords!
(So if you thought that I was going to pocket the money you were wrong! Shame on you!! I just did an initial deal on our behalf…)
So here is what you can do:
1. Get the eBook here
2. Forward your receipt to support[at]harryharrisblog.com
3. In that email give me your subject and keywords for the article
5. Post a comment about it (not essential but nice!)
4. I will send you back the article to the that email address (or another if you wish!)
5. Submit that article to http://ezinearticles.com and other such directories and get traffic and a valuable backlink.
6. Rinse and repeat!
If you like the articles you can use the writer ongoing and she said that you can have a special Harry Harris and Alex Jeffreys rate…..
Hope this makes sense…if not comment below and let me know if you think (might be complete rubbish idea, never know!)
May the force be with you…..

“Let’s start at the very beginning..” – Goals for 2009
Posted on January 15th, 2009 in Alex Jeffreys | 15 Comments »
I know, I know…but my girls love The Sound of Music and when I sat down to plan how I am going to shine in 2009 the above words were all that came into my head!
I think I have, as many of us newbies , been suffering from information overload and I cannot seem to find the time to do all the things that I want to do…(between watching repeats of The Sound of Music)….anyway, moving swiftly along!
After watching my estemed mentor Mr Alex Jeffreys and his latest video on his blog about planning and predictions I have set about with the task of planning my 2009 and getting it from my head onto paper – or mindmap!
The greatest thing about this is the realization that just because it is January the 14th (at time of writing) it doesn’t have to mean that I have to have it all planned out. So I have decided to be more strategic…..I have done more in the last 6 weeks than in the last year – so Harry Happy!
On a daily basis I will also be using the Gary Simpsons brilliant eBook that I will be making good use of…and I recommend you do the same – I will show you how I have been using it as I move forward.
I also want to be able to formulate a task list of best practise based on the results that I have already achieved and will yet achieve.
Next few days….
I am going to rewatch my own review of the Alex Jeffreys Coaching Program Module #1Review to give it its official title (and get it onto YouTube etc – had my account suspended by blip.tv, more on that later – I did nothing wrong I promise!) and retrace my steps and fill in the gaps.
I am also gonna do my Video for the $1500 prize form Alex so that is high priority for me….
Fellow Students…..
I must say, I really admire the likes of Garry Parkes, Gary Simpson (as mentioned previously), JT Martin, Nigel Yip, Mark Austin, Nikki Stephens (who has mastered Twitter!) to name but a few of our wonderful fellow students….they obviously know what they are doing (and seem to have been at it a while) and have taken the internet by storm….
But what if you, like me, are sturggling with all the information? What if you feel snowed under? What if you feel that you have not achieved anywhere near what others are doing?
Don’t worry! My message for myself and for you dear reader today is:“Don’t Sweat – Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day!”
Who are you doing this for anyway? Alex? No…for you! And here’s a shocker – I am doing this for me and MY family….so I just need to do this in such a way that I don’t get distracted by others – but inspired by them…one of my clear objectives in 2009 is to provide tremendous value, to hold nothing back, to give, give and give some more….
……(hence the links to others in this blog – I want you to go there, ’cause there is good stuff on those sites – but if you like me you will work with me, and I know that – and while we are on it I don’t believe in the law of attraction and all that – we gotta work for it, but you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person, so if we are gonna take this journey together we will, because it’s a fit and feels right – why did I sign up with Alex and not someone else? Because he is the right man for the job….for me and many others!)…….
So, Remember “Forward to Basics” - Build that Foundation! (again if you have to!). Keep at it and we will all be successful! I heard recently that Tiger Woods went back and learned a new technique – it put him back for a while but he was willing to take the risk to get it right- so I am too!
I know that I have been doing a TON of stuff wrong – from SEO to time management as well as other things including getting involved a bit more actively with other students (although I have given of my time and resources where I can, the Class of 2008 video being an example!) – that’s why I am going to take the time to plan and be strategic about what I am doing – I am so exited you cannot believe it!
So as Maria said: “Let’s start at the very beginning; a very good place to start…….”

In a previous post I spoke about Twitter and Alex Jeffreys has discussed the advantages of this at length with his students – if you not on Twitter you really are missing out on an amazing marketing tool that I will be exploring even more and reporting back to you about – but I believe it’s about following as much as begin followed and contributing to the information but also to the ‘personality’ aspect – just having a laugh too!
So..what’s the scores George Dawes?
This, for me at least, is amazing as I only really started about Dec 17th if I remember rightly, and true to form I have not had a lot of time to make the most of this tool….so if you don’t already have an account GET ONE and get Twittering!
